GoAhead Software announced an upgrade to its availability and management middleware for carrier-grade and highly reliable systems.

New features in Version 2.1 are said to include an enhanced trace facility that eases debugging efforts, transparent support for failed network interface cards, server pooling for distributed messaging that improves performance and scalability and a new install that eases initial configuration. Version 2.1 also rolls in the latest service packs and bug fixes.

Additionally, SelfReliant 2.1 can now be purchased as an integrated suite or as individual modules. The company offers free 60-day trials, which are available for download on its website.
