CNET reports that Opera, which recently unveiled Small-Screen Rendering technology which makes it easy to read standard Web pages on the small screens of handheld devices and mobile phones, says it will never offer a version for Microsoft-powered devices.
CNET reports Opera communications director Pal Hvistendahl as saying: “We think the browser will be the winner application for smart phones, . . . but we don't want Microsoft to win in this space, so we will never do a Windows CE port.”
