A live question and answer session will follow the event.

The Webinar will take place Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 11:00 AM PDT / 2:00 PM EDT, and will be archived here. A registration form is here.

Two weeks ago, market research firm InStat/MDR projected rapid growth for 64-bit embedded processors, a segment in which the only currently shipping chips are based on MIPS64.

A number of companies offer webinars on embedded Linux, including TimeSys, Wind River, and others. Previously, PMC-Sierra has offered webinars on the MIPS architecture.
